Player Evaluations

All Pepperell Soccer players taking part in our travel program (grades 3-8) must be evaluated to ensure proper placement on a team. As with every youth sport, player placement is an inexact science. Pepperell Soccer does its best and strives to be as objective as possible by providing for and utilizing multiple factors in the decision making process.

We are pleased to announce members of the UMASS (Lowell and Amherst campuses) soccer teams will conduct player evaluations this year.

All evaluations will be conducted on Leao Fields. Note, parents/caregivers and other siblings are not allowed near the fields during evaluations (this includes Varnum and the corner of Glow closest to Leao). There will be markers in the open area before the fields that everyone must remain behind.

If your child cannot attend their age/gender group and are planning on playing fall soccer please email president@pepperellsoccer.org

Be sure to register your player before evaluations. Teams are built based upon the number of players registered. If your child is trying out for Spring placement because of a sport conflict in the FALL please notify president@pepperellsoccer.org

Please do not send your child to a tryout for a different group. If your child is interested in moving to the next grade level please email president@pepperellsoccer.org with detailed reasoning for an early move request. Age group move ups are reviewed on a case by case basis taking into account roster size restrictions set forth by NVYSL and Mass Youth Soccer.

Have a player entering high school in the fall? Pepperell Soccer has Girls high school soccer teams and Townsend-Ashby Youth Soccer has Boys high school teams for Spring 2019. Look for more information around November 2018.
