We need help

Pepperell Youth Soccer needs your help.  Why not get involved? I am sure there are a lot of reasons why you “think” you cannot help.  But trust me; there are numerous ways to get involved.  From helping to paint some lines on a field to helping out for a few hours during the Pepperell Fall Classic, every little bit helps.

On the first Thursday of every month we have Soccer Board Meetings at the Sis McGrath Community Center. The meeting start at 7:30 and most times are concluded by 9.  We discuss progress on existing projects, plan for the months ahead and try to keep a program focused for the kids.

Should parents chew gum on the sidelines?

This solution worked for me.  A lot of people watching a sporting event will get caught up in the moment and yell, could be at the person besides you, could be at the TV or sometimes even at a referee.  This is where the gum comes in….  just chew.

We are asking that parents take an active role in not yelling at a referee or linesman no matter what.  I know there is nobody that drives to a game thinking about what they will yell, it just happens.  When watching a game, try using that 5 second delay thing they do on TV.  Good rule of thumb; if it is not something positive, don’t say it.    Kids can hear this and they are either embarrassed or they do it.

If there is an issue that needs attention, please talk to the Coach after the game or contact us.
